Anne Ojales Curtis-Smith, also known as Anne Curtis-Smith (born on 17 February 1985 in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia) is a Filipino/Spanish-Australian, of British descent actress, model, television host, singer and VJ, fashion icon currently active in the Philippines

Yarrawonga ( /jærəˈwɒŋɡə/) is a town in the Shire of Moira Local Government Area in the Australian state of Victoria. The town is situated on the south bank of the Murray River, the border between Victoria and New South Wales and is located approximately 265 kilometres (165 mi) north-east of the state capital, Melbourne. Yarrawonga's twin town of Mulwala is on the other side of the Murray River. At the 2006 census, Yarrawonga had a population of 5,727.
Yarrawonga Post Office opened on 28 November 1874.
Yarrawonga is served by a standard gauge branch railway, which branches off the Melbourne-Sydney line at Benalla and terminates at Oaklands in New South Wales.

Yarrawonga's main attraction is Lake Mulwala, formed by the damming of the Murray River, immediately downstream of Yarrawonga. The lake is a popular location for activities such as boating kayaking and fishing. There are two crossings of the Murray between Yarrawonga and Mulwala; across the weir (a stock route carrying a single lane of traffic); and a bridge over Lake Mulwala. This bridge contains an unusual bend and dip in the middle, a result of miscommunication between the two state governments.
The Yarrawonga Football Club participates in the Ovens and Murray Football League in the sport of Australian rules football, which has produced the likes of Barry Mitchell, Joel Smith, Ben Dixon, and Tom Lonergan.
Historically, one of the major industries in the Yarrawonga/ Mulwala area has been the explosives factory, which was constructed in Mulwala over 1942-43 . It is now operated by French company Thales but remains an Australian Department of Defence asset

- Neil McBeath, a corporal in the AIF, wrote the song I’m Going Back Again to Yarrawonga, published in 1919. It was first performed as part of an ‘Anzac Coves’ pantomime in France during World War I, and later recorded by Ella Shields and Leonard Hubbard in 1923 and 1924 respectively.

Career
Anne Curtis' first movie was Magic Kingdom where she played a
princess. She attended T.G.I.S (Thank God It's Sabado) during her teen
years. Curtis appeared in supporting roles or in ensemble casts during the early part of her career. She achieved a fan following in her roles in Love to Love, where she was partnered with Richard She has had several teleserye that aired in GMA Network.
In 2004, she transferred to ABS-CBN. She rose to prominence when she played Stephanie in Hiram along with Geoff Eigenman, Heart Evangelista, Kris Aquino, and Dina Bonnevie. After the teleserye ended, she was given the role of Imang, a Kampanerang Kuba. It was a remake of the movie, Kampanerang Kuba played before by Vilma Santos, mother of Luis Manzano who is her longtime best friend. After that teleserye was completed, she was cast in one of the lead roles of Maging Sino Ka Man opposite Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz,and Sam Milby her ex Boyfriend. Maging Sino Ka Man was followed by Maging Sino Ka Man: Book 2. She starred in the drama series "Dyosa". She was also the daughter of Ai Ai de las Alas in Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo; Love Interest of Aga Muhlach in When Love Begins, in the block buster movie Baler with Jericho Rosales where she won best actress in MMFF 2008.Curtis played the role of beautiful socialite Kara Zalderiaga in the blockbuster 2011 film No Other Woman. Currently, she has a successful blog on LOOKBOOK.NU Curtis received her first big break in Philippine primetime TV when she was cast in the role of Stephanie Borromeo in the TV series Hiram As Stephanie, she was the best friend and romantic rival of Margaret Benipayo, portrayed by Heart Evangelista. The role was a departure from her earlier, typical, teeny-bopper roles, and positioned Curtis for primetime.
In 2005, her successful portrayal in Hiram led to her first title role as Imang/Fatima in the fantasy TV series Kampanerang Kuba.
In 2006, Curtis returned to primetime TV as Celine Magsaysay in Maging Sino Ka Man, this time with new loveteam partner Sam Milby of Pinoy Big Brother fame.
In 2008, Curtis will play a Dyosa to a new fantaserye in ABS-CBN, entitled Dyosa.. She is currently on the soap opera Maging Sino Ka Man as Celine, which also airs on ABS-CBN. In 2007, Anne became an MTV VJ for the new MTV Philippines which relaunched March 1, 2007.

With Oyo Boy Sotto
After a six-month courtship, Curtis entered into a two-year relationship with now ex-boyfriend Oyo Boy Sotto, son of well-known showbiz personalities Vic Sotto and Dina Bonnevie and an actor himself. Curtis describes her relationship with Sotto as her first brush with genuine love, saying of him: "He was the one who I really loved." By June 2003, the relationship was officially over. In a later interview, Sotto blamed "immaturity and possessiveness" as the reasons their relationship did not work out.

Cellphone Video with Ex-boyfriend Richard Gutierrez
Curtis and her relationship with now ex-boyfriend and actor Richard Gutierrez became the subject of gossip particularly after a short video from her cellphone (showing the two kissing) began to circulate through emails and MMS messages. Her cellular phone had allegedly been lost and the video clip subsequently became public.
Curtis readily admits to the cellphone video: "I don’t see the point of not admitting it," she explained. "I’ve never been the kind of person to deny anything. I would just look like a liar."

Anne Curtis released her album Annebisyosa from Viva Records after much prodding to her bosses to give her dream solo album. Curtis has always fantasized about recording her own album which has now become a reality as Viva Artists Agency, Anne’s management, and Viva Records finally released her debut album. “AnneBisyosa” will be a realization of one of Anne’s long-time aspirations. “AnneBisyosa” is a pop record that reflects Anne’s personality. She starts off with an upbeat original called “Tinamaan Ako”, which is an OPM pop song. The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) is for ordinary mortals, celebrities ride on flashy cars. This is the norm in the Philippines, so when one celebrity takes the MRT to go somewhere, people react.
ABS-CBN star Anne Curtis tweeted a photo of herself inside the MRT. She took the MRT to make it in time for last night’s concert of Australian star Kylie Minogue at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. I can imagine the shock of MRT commuters who saw the popular star inside the MRT but people on Twitter were just as surprised.
