Mano Po III: My Love

Mano Po III: My Love is the third installment of the Mano Po Anthology, following the success of Mano Po and Mano Po 2: My Home. Produced by Regal Entertainment through MAQ Productions, Mano Po III stars Vilma Santos in the leading role.

Synopsis

Anti-crime crusader Lilia Chiong Yang seems to have everything a woman could want and need: a husband who pampers her; children whom any parent would be proud of; and the respect & admiration of the most powerful people in the land. But just as Lilia prepares for her 25th wedding anniversary celebration, a chance encounter in Thailand with her first love Michael throws Lilia's life into chaos. So begins the resumption of a relationship that threatens to unravel the delicate threads connecting Lilia to the other people in her life.

Trivia

On 27 September 2004, Regal Films staged a moon cake festival to launch the movie in time with the contract signing of all the stars for this movie.
Kris Aquino, who starred in two earlier Mano Po series, was initially offered to play in the movie. Due to her hectic schedule, her role was later offered to Judy Ann Santos. But since Santos was shooting the TV series Krystala, the role later went to Sheryl Cruz, who made a comeback with this film.

Jay Manalo is the only actor to have starred in all the Mano Po series.
