Ikaw Na Sana

    Synopsis

Ever since the first time Rafael saw Blanca in his favorite motorcycle track, he knew she was different. It was love at first sight for the both of them. They shared sweet nothings until it grew to even more. They both live a fairy tale life but these will soon change due to dark forces too powerful to comprehend.

Barbara- Blanca's aunt, never forgave Blanca's father- Gardo, for choosing her sister and for marrying her. For years she secretly harbored a grudge to the couple. She married another man just to have money and a daughter- Angela. Angela, also harbors feelings for Rafael and is jealous of all the attention Blanca is getting. Barbara made a plan a long time ago. She plans to hurt the couple by hurting their would-be child.

Before Blanca was born, Barbara met a black witch named Isidra. She befriended her and they became close allies. They took hair from the baby Blanca and with it planted a seed. They will wait until it becomes a tree and when it bears its first blossom, whatever shall happen to it shall happen to Blanca.

Many weird things start to happen in their household and this frightened Blanca's mother. A close friend of Blanca's mother who knew about divination, felt that the child and the family is cursed and gave advice to the couple. On the night of Blanca's 18th birthday, the tree blossomed. Blanca's mother said a prayer while Barbara set the tree on fire. Blanca's face mysteriously caught on fire and this disfigured her. Also by this time, Rafael was involved in a motocross accident that blinded him.

Blanca's mother was turned by Barbara into a dove in front of Gardo's eyes. Barbara took Gardo to the mental asylum claiming he killed his wife and he is insane. Blanca is left to the harsh treatment of Barbara and Angela. Angela forces Rafael to like her but unknown to her, Rafael and Blanca still secretly share moments together. An operation was set for Rafael. Rafael's sight is restored but he is horrified to see Blanca's distorted face.
Because of Rafael's disgust and the discovery of what her aunt can do, she left without anything. The only one to back her up is her friend, Emil. A rich man named Benz took Blanca in his wing and renamed her Susan. Emil tried to break the tree curse which made Blanca's operation a success.

Years pass, Blanca and Benz are now engaged. She now works at an advertising company as an executive. Rafael turns out to be their client. He is now also engaged with Angela. She plans to make his life miserable but ended up loving him even more. Even if they tried to hide what they feel, it is still too obvious. Blanca sees how dangerous Benz is with his fits of rage due to extreme jealousy and decided to elope with Rafael in a very far place to get married. It was a success but Angela tracked them a week before their wedding day.
Angela's and Blanca's faces were switched because of a spell. Angela will go to the wedding as Blanca. Meanwhile, Gardo manages to be released after all those years and proved he was not insane. He broke the dove spell and Blanca's mother burned the hut along with the witch inside.

Blanca (w/ Angela's face) tried to stop Rafael from going but to no avail. In the middle of the ceremony, Benz came and shot what he thought was Blanca. He was arrested. Rafael saw how their faces changed and believed everything that Blanca has been through.

Barbara became crazy and ended up in a mental asylum. Blanca rebuilt everything her aunt destroyed and ended up in the arms of the man she truly loves.
